I am Sam, a 22-year-old Software Developer with a passion for creating digital solutions. I study at Saxion in Enschede in the Software Development program. In my free time, I am dedicated to both fitness and soccer because I believe that a healthy mind and a healthy body go hand in hand with my creative work.

My days are filled with writing code and developing innovative digital solutions. During my work and studies, I engage in exciting projects in the world of software development.
Fitness
Outside of my programming work, you can often find me at the gym, where I work on my strength and fitness. Additionally, I'm frequently on the soccer field, where I play in a friendly team as the last man.
Animals
I'm a big animal lover myself. I have lived with animals my whole life, and currently, we have 2 dogs in our house.
Experiences
Full-Stack Developer at Camping Care
In 2026, I started as a Full-Stack Developer. I now work with an ever-growing team on the further development of a rapidly growing PMS.
Developer (part-time) at Camping Care
In 2022, I started working as a Developer (part-time) at Camping.care in Denekamp, where I work with a small team on a PMS for campsites that is used throughout Europe.
Internship at Cube B.V.
I worked with the team on various projects, including the development of a website for easily generating cookie notifications.
Studies
Saxion University of Applied Sciences
Here I followed the Software Development program, which I successfully completed in December 2025.
ROC of Twente
At ROC, I completed a 4-year program in Application & Media Development and obtained a diploma.
Projects
Recently I have been working on a PWA that can track your workouts. I found existing apps that do this to be too expensive for what they offer. So I made my own with Vue.js and Firebase. It is still a work in progress though.
This Node.js project searches for photos stored on a Synology NAS server. It finds photos taken on the current day, but a random number of years ago, and then sends them to your email.
